27. after handover

Because this was a festive day, I had decided to end the day festively: Eating pancakes in my house. Unfortunately there was no power all day and I am not in possession of a whisk, so I have been batter knocking for 18 people with 2 forks! And incredibly sweating! 

The children were all sitting on the floor in our 'office'. I also don't own many chairs😉. But they enjoyed it. Daniel and Martha were putting the pancakes on plates and they brought them in. Inside were Mary and Chief. The rest of the staff was preparing the building activities for the next day the next day in Siniensi and they brought the wheelchairs to Siniensi. 

It was very quiet inside... The children and the staff had a tasty meal, except for Ezekiel, who didn't like it that much. Afterwards we sat in the kitchen with the staff to look at my family photo book. The children watched over our shoulders. In the office we later made music on the squeeze box. It was a super fun day! 

And now: 2 weeks holiday. So also 2 weeks no blogs. We start again on May 2nd and the blogs start again on May 8th.

(It will not be a holiday of doing nothing: I am going to paint doors and we want to furnish the second room so that a new group can start, the water tower will be completed and maybe the roof of the container will be laid! But it can all be done in our own time!

(The alarm clock not on 05.30 for 2 weeks, hurray!)
